Dan Garcia
Chairman of the Board, Success Capital
This month we’re proud to spotlight Dan Garcia, a long-time banking leader with more than 30 years of experience and a valued member of the Success Capital family.
Dan oversees a wide territory at Community West Bank including commercial teams, small business bankers, and retail branches. He also oversees the SBA division for the entire bank. After decades in the industry, he still loves what he does and enjoys mentoring the next generation.
His relationship with Success Capital spans over 25 years, beginning when he was a lender. Dan joined our Board in April 2013 and continues to support our mission of helping small businesses succeed. One of his favorite success stories is the Marquez family in Lodi, a deal that reminded him how life-changing the SBA 504 program can be.
Outside of work, Dan’s greatest joy is family time. He and his wife of nearly 24 years have three children, two college athlete sons and an artistic middle-school daughter; and cheering them on is where he truly unwinds.
He lives by the motto: “We learn something new every day.”
And his advice for small business owners: “Be patient. Build steadily. Success takes time.”
