Wonderly Correria – VP Business Banking Officer at Bank of Stockton

Board member at Success Capital

Wonderly Correia exemplifies what it means to be a true partner to small businesses and to Success Capital.

Recently recognized as Success Capital’s Most Active Lender, Wonderly’s impact is rooted in his genuine belief in the SBA 504 program and his ability to clearly communicate its benefits to clients.

For Wonderly, the “secret” is simple: understanding the program and helping clients see what’s possible. By showing business owners how they can purchase commercial real estate with minimal upfront capital while preserving cash to operate and grow, he creates a win-win for the client, the bank, and the community.

When asked about a transaction that stands out, Wonderly shared that every SBA 504 client benefits – but most recently highlighted a borrower transitioning from leasing to ownership to expand a medical practice. Like many business owners, the client didn’t believe ownership was attainable until the right guidance and structure were in place.

Wonderly’s path into banking began more than 25 years ago, starting as a teller while attending night classes. What began as a practical job quickly evolved into a career as he advanced through roles in personal banking, sales leadership, branch management, and ultimately business banking. Along the way, he focused on understanding real estate, building professional relationships, and serving clients with intention.

Outside of work, Wonderly is a proud family man. As he puts it, “I work all day and chase my kids all night.” He enjoys traveling with his family; most recently to Portugal and the Azores. Staying connected to cultural traditions, and supporting his children in their activities.

Wonderly lives by the quote, “You miss 100% of the shots you don’t take.” It’s a philosophy that mirrors how he approaches both life and lending: ask the question, explore the opportunity, and help clients move forward with confidence.

Success Capital is grateful for Wonderly’s partnership, leadership, and continued commitment to helping small businesses turn possibility into progress.
